I had a lot of problems shooting off camera flash. I first took pictures in Utah of my brother, but since the sun set behind the mountains and it snowed every day there was no sunset, it just turned dark. So by the time I started shooting the camera wouldn't focus because it couldn't find my brother, so I switched to manual focus and was hoping that my brother was focused. When I looked at the pictures on the camera they appeared to be in focus, so I didn't e-shoot them, but when I uploaded them to lightroom they were all out of focus, so I had to do another shoot. I decided to shoot my friend and her brother, they live on a farm, so I went over to shoot as the sun was setting. My f/stop stayed the same throughout the whole shoot, at f/5. same with my shutter speed at 1/180. My ISO did change as it got darker.

ISO: 800, SS: 1/180, F/5

For his first outfit I had my ISO fairly high because I was outside and the sun was setting, and when he changed outfits I adjusted the ISO because it was darker.
